I catch myself playing some crap. Do you stay on low pocket pairs? J8, or Q2?

My win/loss stats in the SB are worse than any other position, including UTG. So my theory for playing a hand in the SB is that I dump the hand unless it's worth playing for a full bet from early position. A lot of people get fooled into thinking, "I've already paid half price for it, so I only have to pay half price to play." True, but bad.

Your specific hands: low pp--if there are already 3 or more limpers; the others--never.

if there are a couple limpers, you must complete in the sb with a low pp. if folded to me in the sb and i have a low pp, I'm raising.

All of this is also majorly dependent on structure. Is it 15-30 where blinds are 10-15
5-10 where it is 2-5

or 3-6 where it is 1-3

You have 3 different math situations there.

say nobody raises and the the blinds are small, half have called and half have folded. What do you do with that J6 or pocket deuces

j6 does not even get my attention...dueces at 3-6 okay...not 5-10...unless things are going well for me...then i'll go with the 1/2 bet add-on...if the bb has not been a raiser during play...

I woulndt play J6 but I would play 22 in any blind situation with that many limpers. Even if the bb raises and you have to call another bet with 22, you arent in a bad situation at all, you have good odds to hit your set.

I don't think you can ever say never or always or you become too predictable. I like to mix things up a little from time to time.
